The first contractor I had to reach out and he stated he couldn\'t make it to me cause he was in Savannah and had a lot of clients. So 2-10 immediately sent my info to another contractor whom reached out to me the same day and they came out and access my Hvac unit. What they stated was the problem wasn\'t covered by 2-10 so I would have to pay out of pocket (DAT) would take a couple of weeks to come in. It ended up not being the issue it was the expansion valve which they stated was working fine. I got it changed out and my unit is working fine now but of course I paid out of pocket for this to be fixed. some of my rating is for 2-10 quick to get another contractor, time they came and look at my unit quality of repair if the person whom did fix my unit not through 2-10. My power bill will be high due to having to use my emergency heat waiting for the part that I was told I needed and really didn't.

I dont understand the reviews...I have had 2-10 home buyers warranty since we bought the house almost three years ago. I have had a problem with the old fridge that came with the house and with my gas stove and HVAC system. For the fridge they sent someone the next day. He said it was an older model and that parts (compressor)would take a few weeks to get , obviously couldn\'t wait so they offered me the price of the repairs...570.00. I took it and bought a new fridge ! great ! Gas stove would light but the oven wouldn\'t light up..went online create a service call...next day someone was there and they fixed it ...just had to pay service call 100.00 $ HVAC was not throwing out any cold...created service call online...got a call within a day ...he came out the next day put added gas and bang ! it started air conditioning again. he told me this would have cost me usually 600.00 $...all I paid was the 100.00 service fee.
I had an excellent experience using 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty. I had a number of cosmetic issues that needed to be addressed during the pandemic. 2-10 took note of these issues and assured me they would come as soon as health & safety standards permitted. The gentleman overseeing the work (***** ****) scheduled all the work for the same day, including items that I noticed and reported on short notice. All of the subcontractors showed up on time, and completed the work in a prompt and professional manner. ****** ****** also handled a number of punch list items and even addressed several items that I had overlooked out of a professional courtesy. The 2-10 Warranty team does fantastic work and, while I hope that I do not have to call on them again, I know that they would address the issues with the same standards.
On hold forever, when only needed contact information updated. NO way to email support to address non critical updates/information. Requires deductible to service provider fixing equipment regardless of if the equipment is fixed or not. This seems insane. What\'s the encouragement for the service provider to finish fixing what they started if they already get their money. Otherwise, pretty happy with this warranty. Just think they need to get this email posted in their contact us page. Not everyone wants to sit on hold for minutes/hours to talk to someone. Deduct 1 start for these shortfalls.
Awful. I turned in a claim for a broken washing machine on August 15th. After 3 service contractor visits with no repair or resolution, I was authorized to order a new washer on September 30th and told it would be 2-4 weeks. It is now December 28th and still no washer. When I call the 800 number, I wait on hold for upwards of 45 minutes to an hour and no one can advise me when I am getting my new washer. I have been a 2-10 customer for 8 years and cannot believe the lack of customer service. I will not be renewing my warranty plan.
