I’ve been using Old Republic for several years now. Apart from one provider who did not work out so well, although he did eventually get the job done, I have been impressed and very happy with Old Republic. This is especially true with the last problem I had which required some extensive work and Old Republic came through for me. I recommend them very highly. SR, Tucson, AZ
Old Republic is the absolute best home warranty I have ever used. They actually know what Customer service is about. For those who complain should understand their contact before complaining. I have used several home warranty programs in my life of 72 years and old Republic is hands ? down the best on the market. I have used local and national and none compare to the customer service of old Republic.
We have had Old Republic for 6 years. They have been wonderful to deal with and we will never give them up!
I did not pay the annual coverage above, it was paid by the seller I purchased my home from. I\'ve had this Company as my home warranty for almost 1 year now. In this time frame I\'ve had two completed service repairs done and the third service repair should be completed today. Each and every repair has been a Blessing from Heaven. The Staff at Old Republic Home Warranty has Always been Friendly and took Time to make Sure my Home repair needs that the policy covered were met. And Always gave instruction on what I should do next. I Feel Very Blessed to Have them handle my home repair requests and referring me to TOP QUALITY SERVICE TECHS. I do Pray The Entire Company Have a GOD Blessed Day,Every Day in ALL You DO! Thank You so much for All You have done to Help My Home Repairs to be AWESOME! THANK YOU,
I renewed my warranty with this company even after reviewing other warranties. It is significantly different from homeowners insurance; my premium will never go up nor will I be canceled and they dont cover everything from plumbing, fans, ac to washer and microwave. Im a little disappointed that my deductible went up from 75 to 100 but ive had many claims (purchased a lemon) and my warranty has saved me $1000\'s!
I don\'t understand, why so many people have given Old Republic, a bad rating. I have used them, for ten years now, and every time I\'ve had a issue. They have resolved it. In a timely matter. I personally love Old Republic and I recommend them to everyone!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Do I Need A Home Warranty If I Have Homeowners Insurance?
A.
Homeowner’s insurance & home warranty do not cover the same things, so having home insurance does not get you respite from sudden mechanical breakdowns. A home warranty helps if you have older house appliances and systems that aren’t under a manufacturer’s warranty.
The two policies are complementary but not interchangeable, as a home warranty doesn’t cover damage from natural disasters.
Can The Old Republic Home Protection Coverage Get Transferred?
A.
Yes, customers can transfer the policy to a new homeowner. However, you must notify the company when you transfer your contract. You must also contact customer care to update them on an interstate transfer. It will make sure you go through a smooth transfer process.
Does The Old Republic Home Protection Cover Septic Tanks?

Does Old Republic Cover HVAC Systems?
A.
Old Republic Home Protection covers HVAC systems, but the plans give people a choice between having their HVAC or refrigerator covered. All the components that affect the heating operation of the unit are covered. Mini-split, ductless systems are covered, but window units are not.
Can I Renew My ORHP Home Warranty?
A.
Yes, it’s easy if you require Old Republic Home Warranty renewal. ORHP will notify you of the terms of renewal and the Plan Fee approximately 60 days before coverage expiry. You must pay before that day to smooth out the next contract period.
How Do You Cancel An Old Republic Home Protection?
A.
You can cancel your service contract with ORHP by completing the plan cancellation form on their website. You will receive a full refund if you cancel your contract within the first 30 days. Otherwise, ORHP will charge a cancellation fee.

Is A Home Warranty Worth It For An Older Home?
